Central Maine Community College Library is a member of a library consortium called Minerva. Minerva consists of public, academic, and specialty libraries. There are millions of books, audiobooks, and movies available through Minerva

How do I request books from other libraries?

To search for items at other Minerva libraries: 

Go to the CMCC Catalog

Choose the arrow next to the box that says Central Maine Community College

Search for individual libraries or All Minerva Locations (which appears at the top of the list) in the drop down box 
 

 To request from another library in Minerva: 

Find an item you would like to request

Click on the button located at the top of the screen

Enter your name and barcode number (located on the back of your CMCC ID)

You will receive an email to your CMConnect address when your item arrives

How long can I keep an item?

Books - 3 Weeks (3 renewals)

Audio/Video - 3 Week (3 renewals)

Periodicals - Library use only

Reference - Library use only

Reserves - Circulation varies

Borrowed Items:

Minerva Books, Movies & Audiobooks have a three-week loan period with the possibility of one renewal for an additional two weeks.

MaineCat Books have a four-week loan period with the possibility of one renewal for an additional two weeks.

MaineCat Movies & Audiobooks have a one-week loan period with the possibility of one renewal for an additional week.

You can renew items by going to your Patron Information.
