BIO 115/116 and BIO 117/118 Virtual Study Groups
Need help with Anatomy & Physiology? Join one of the free Zoom study group sessions! These Virtual Study Groups are open to CM students currently enrolled in BIO 115/116 or BIO 117/118. You can attend the study group regularly or just drop in for a session or two. Work with other students to pool your collective knowledge into understanding. Plus, it’s fun to study in groups!

The Writing Center
The Writing Center provides help with all phases of the writing process such as; organization, revision, grammar, and MLA/APA documentation styles. All CMCC students can receive free tutoring from the Writing Center.
This term, the Writing Center will be all virtual and offer 2 options:
First: ZOOM Virtual Writing Center
(Live video and audio conferencing) with Zoom tutoring; you have face-to-face help with your papers. You must have a camera on your laptop or desktop to access zoom. You can access the Zoom Writing Center two ways. First, you can schedule your ZOOM videoconference in Appointment Plus. https://booknow.appointment-plus.com/y73qhr9c/ Your writing center tutor will then email you a link to connect to your ZOOM videoconference. Or, you can just click on the links below during those particular times. Most likely your tutor can help you right away or will set up an appointment with you right then. Your tutor will instruct you how to upload your paper (from a file) once you have logged into the videoconference.

Second: Online Writing Center (Brightspace / e-mail)
Submitting all, or part of your paper to the On-Line Writing Center and receiving feedback within 24-48 hours.
To access the On-Line Writing Center, you must first get the On-line Writing Center listed in your courses. It’s simple.
Once you have enrolled in the On-Line Writing Center by following the instructions above, click on the On-Line Writing Center window and follow the instructions for submitting your paper. The tutors are notified that your paper has been uploaded and will generally respond within 24-48 hours with suggestions and comments.
