The Conference Room

@ The Learning Commons

The Conference Room is available for students to use as a quiet study area or for group meetings. Reservations are required and can be made by using the online reservation system (see below) or by visiting the front desk.

Fall/Spring 2020-2021 Semester Information

During COVID, the Learning Commons Conference room is being used as a recording studio.

  • The minimum reservation time is ½ hour; the maximum is 2 hours
  • You must use your CMCC email to reserve this space
  • Staff will review and approve each request
  • First priority goes to COM 100 students recording their speeches
  • Students will receive an email confirmation
  • Masks must be worn at all times by everyone in the Learning Commons and in the conference room; including presenters.

Due to physical distancing requirements for Covid-19 safety the maximum occupancy of the conference room is currently 4.  One presenter, and three audience members.

The Conference Room seats up to 15 people AND has available for use:

  • White board, markers and erasers
  • Projector and screen
  • Smart board

General Rules

  • Students are allowed to book the conference room the minimum reservation time is ½ hour; the maximum is 2 hours
  • If you have not arrived within 15 minutes of your booking, the selected times will be canceled, so others may use the room
  • Students are allowed to have beverages in the room
  • No food is allowed
