CMCC has been extremely fortunate these past few years to have Port Veritas in Portland graciously organize poetry slams and teach workshops on campus.   The past few years this campus has been graced with the talented Nathan, Shawn, Wil, Gil, Nancy and Jazz (to name just a few) from Port Veritas.  This year's show will include a demonstration of poetry slamming, followed by an open slam, in which all are invited to participate. This event is open to the public, especially those who are new to slamming.

Funding for last year's Port Veritas slam has been made possible by Student Senate, Trio, and the Library.
